Role overview
<h2>Responsibilities</h2><ul><li>Assist in development and testing of personal care products such as face wash, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand wash, creams, lotions, gels, serums, and hair-care products.</li><li>Prepare laboratory trial batches as per approved formulations and product briefs.</li><li>Test raw materials, in-process samples, finished goods, and packaging materials against approved specifications.</li><li>Conduct quality checks for pH, viscosity, appearance, colour, fragrance, density, foam, texture, stability, and packaging compatibility.</li><li>Maintain formulation trial sheets, laboratory notebooks, test reports, stability records, and retained samples.</li><li>Support pilot batches, production trials, scale-up, and new-product launches.</li><li>Identify and report out-of-specification results, product defects, and stability failures.</li><li>Coordinate with production, procurement, packaging, warehouse, and quality teams for product improvement and issue resolution.</li><li>Ensure calibration, cleaning, and proper maintenance of laboratory instruments and equipment.</li><li>Follow SOPs, Good Manufacturing Practices, safety procedures, hygiene standards, and Good Documentation Practices.</li><li>Assist in product stability studies, customer complaint investigation, and market-sample evaluation.</li><li>Maintain records required for quality audits, regulatory documentation, internal controls, and company compliance requirements.</li></ul>
